Proprietor Jessica MacLeod has worked on back-of-the-book indexes in a variety of subject areas, including visual arts and history. She has also indexed periodicals.

She has edited works of creative writing as well as various types of non-fiction, including local history, business, and environmental reporting.

She holds degrees in English literature and education, and is a qualified secondary teacher of English, History, and Visual Arts.

Jessica MacLeod is a member of these professional associations: Indexing Society of Canada, Editors Canada, and the Ontario College of Teachers.
